Process consultancy

Our 'on-the-ground' consulting capabilities include interviews and workshops. We are also very experienced in the design, administration and analysis of a range of questionnaires – usually over the web. These can identify the best method and timing for the project delivery and the readiness of your organisation to accept it.

Event consultancy

You might be clear about the changes you want to make, but unsure how to construct a learning event that will communicate them effectively. Skill4 International has some of the world's best instructional design skills that can create an event for you or 'audit' your existing design against our long established design criteria.

E-learning and assessment

Your event might be suited to a blended solution, with support before and/or after delivered electronically. The Huthwaite International Group pioneered e-learning support and is developing a class-leading ability to deliver via the 'virtual classroom'. This replicates, as far as possible with current technology, the activity and interaction of the traditional face-to-face training room in cyberspace.

Customisation

When most training providers talk about customisation, they mean taking generic materials and pasting the client's logo on to them. At best they might change some of the terminology. To us, customisation is a critical tool in easing the transfer of learning from the classroom to the workplace.

Exercises reflect the language and scenarios that participants face in reality. We develop roleplays and simulations that mirror their 'real world'.

Translation

One little inconsistency or inaccuracy in materials translation can destroy the credibility of a whole project by sending an 'alien' message. Our people don't just speak the language; they live locally and conduct business locally. So they know the linguistic and cultural nuances that your material must reflect to gain acceptability.

Materials production and distribution

If you wish, you can stay responsible for producing and shipping materials, but this is another headache we can take away from to let you get on with your day job. The Huthwaite International group produces high quality materials for its clients around the world, wherever possible using sustainable resources to do so.

Local meetings

It may be that you anticipate some local resistance. Where necessary, our network partners can meet with your local management to help identify and resolve any issues that may stand in the way of the success of your project in particular countries.

Train-the-trainer

It is sometimes effective to have joint delivery – one of our people and one of your people, together in the same classroom. But not all of your people might possess the necessary skills. This is where our flexible, but demanding, approach to Train-the-Trainer (T3) comes in.

Evaluation consultancy

Just as we can before it, we can provide a range of capabilities after event delivery. Again, we are practised at using questionnaires and workshops to identify and measure the short and long term success of projects.

We can even provide you with on the ground monitoring and coaching, or we can train your managers to collect and collate the necessary data. They can input that data over the web to our remote SMART system, which will collate and analyse it, allow you to interrogate it in whatever format we agree and provide you with bespoke reports.
